For Another Stolen Hour

Sammy tilted her head again.

Adam continued for a bit before stopping and sighing. "We should probably go..." He said. "Before I get carried away again..."

Sammy nodded, slowly moving to get up.

Adam frowned and pulled Sammy close again, hugging her before letting go so they could get up.

Sammy got up, moving toward the door.

Adam sighed and got up, getting the things he needed before following.

Sammy made her way from the office, into the class room.

Adam locked the office door behind him before following.

Sammy sat down in her usual seat.

Adam put his things down on his desk, swearing quietly when he went to use his injured hand. He sat down afterwards while he waited for the rest of the students, only a few of them there so far.

Sammy frowned, watching Adam in concern.

Adam glanced up at Sammy, giving a small smile when he saw she was watching, trying to reassure her he was okay.

Sammy gave a small smile in return.

Adam looked back down at his things on his desk, reading through the things for the lesson, knowing he wouldn't be able to write anything up on the board for the class.

Natalie came into the classroom, looking curiously at Adam. "Mr. P, what happened to your hand?"

Adam jumped slightly when he realised someone was talking to him, smiling when he saw Natalie. "Oh...it's nothing... Don't worry."

Natalie nodded. "If you need someone to write on the board for you, I'll do it," Natalie offered.

"Oh thanks," Adam said. "But you don't need to." He added, being stubborn.

"Mr. P I just wanna help," said Natalie.

Adam went to say no, but stopped himself, sighing. "Okay."

Natalie smiled, chuckling. "You're as stubborn as my brother."

"I'm usually much more stubborn," Adam said. "But then we'd never get any work done if I started being that way."

"Well then come be stubborn in our other classes then," Natalie joked.

"Still don't like them?" Adam asked.

Natalie shook her head. "Nope."
