Tender Loving Care

Sammy smiled. "It's cute."

"Have to look after my brother..." Lennon said, pouting. "Don't like when he's sick."

Sammy nodded. "I know Len, it's your job as the older brother to protect him."

Lennin smiled and nodded. "...that's what daddy calls me..." He said.

Sammy nodded. "I know."

"He...calls me that at school?" Lennon asked, looking up at Sammy.

"Only rehearsals," said Sammy. "When he's with those of us he's closest to."

"Oh." Lennon said, smiling. "Friends...?"

Sammy nodded again. "Uh huh."

Lennon smiled, brushing hair off his face with one hand.

Sammy continued to cook

Lennon looked back down at Monte, checking on him.

Monte was fast asleep.

Lennon smiled and laid down with him, hugging him close.

Monte curled close.

Lennon slowly took part of Monte's blanket, putting it over himself as well before hugging Monte again.

Monte groaned, grabbing his blanket. "Mine," he mumbled, half asleep.

"It's me Monte." Lennon said softly, hugging him tight.

"Mine," said Monte. "Not yours."

"Okay, okay..." Lennon said, wrapping the blanket back around Monte.

Sammy smiled, moving to go get a blanket for Lennon.

Lennon laid still, quietly watching Monte.

Sammy grabbed a blanket, covering Lennon up.

"Thank you." Lennon mumbled, smiling as he pulled it around himself.
