Diana came into the house after a long shift at work, knowing Gabriel was coming to visit from school that weekend. They'd planned to spend the weekend preparing for Gabriel's audition that next Monday. Diana stopped in the living room door way when she spotted her son. He didn't look like himself. He looked nervous, visibly shaken, and as though he'd been crying. Diana came around to the front of the couch. "Gabriel?" Diana asked gently, sitting down next to him.

Gabriel heard his mother come in, but didn't look up, going along with the act; which was all it was. He'd been meaning to tell her something for a while now, but wasn't sure how she'd react, so he'd figured this was the best way, knowing not even Diana would see through the act. He let out a sob as she sat next to him, putting his head in his hands.

Diana put an arm around her son. "Gabriel sweetheart, what's the matter?"

"I..." Gabriel said, slowly lifting his head after letting out another sob. "I um...there's something...I need to tell you." He muttered.

Diana took Gabriel's hand. "What is it sweetie?"

"It...it's about Sammy..." Gabriel said quietly.

"It's...about...my relationship with her..." Gabriel said slowly after a pause to seem more nervous.

"She...um," Gabriel said nervously, running a hand through his hair. "She's seeing someone else..."

"She's cheating on you?" asked Diana.
